Bishop Kevin Doran is to be installed as the Bishop of the Diocese of Achonry this Sunday.
The official installation will take place at a celebration ceremony at the Cathedral of the Annunciation and St. Nathy, Ballaghaderreen this Sunday, March 30.
Bishop Doran will minister simultaneously as Bishop of Achonry and Bishop of Elphin, seeing the two diocese united in persona episcopi.
The installation mass will be celebrated at 3:00pm.
Bishop Doran will be principal celebrant and homilist, while his Excellency Archbishop Luis Mariano Montemayor, Papal Nuncio to Ireland, Archbishop Francis Duffy, and Bishop Michael Duignan will be principal con-celebrants.
