If West Mayo councillors reject the Part 8 Planning required for the realisation of the long promised Belclare- Murrisk Greenway, due to come before them shortly, it will have an impact on all future Greenway developments in the county.
That’s the view of Westport Fine Gael councillor Peter Flynn.
At yesterday’s meeting of Mayo County Council the coucillor sought clarification around the controversial Belclare to Murrisk Greenway and the role of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, TII, Mayo County council and local landowners.
