Carracastle Central National School in Cashelduff, Ballaghaderreen, has received approval to proceed to tender for the construction of a new Special Education Tuition (SET) room.
Fine Gael TD for Mayo and Junior Minister Alan Dillon said it is a very positive development for the rural four-teacher school which has seen growing demand for enhanced learning supports.
“The new SET room will ensure that children who need additional support can access it in a modern, purpose-built environment,” said Minister Dillon.
