Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious road collision incident in which a cyclist was injured, that occurred on the N17 in Co Mayo yesterday (Fri)
The incident happened on the road between the airport and Charlestown.
A cyclist, aged in his 60s, was found with life-threatening injuries at around 12:20pm yesterday afternoon and was brought by ambulance to hospital.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who were on the N17 between the airport and Charlestown between 11:45am and 12:20pm and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
