Castlebar Lions Club has announced that it will host a Major Community Fundraising Event in Castlebar on Friday, June 6th, to raise funds for several community based organisations selected by Castlebar Lions Club partnered with Mayo Mental Health.
Arrangements are underway with eight local Sports Clubs to participate in the event. It will be structured around the popular Cube concept seen on television. Each Club will enter a team of four to compete in the Cube and complete several challenges.
The show will take place in the TF Royal Theatre in front of a live audience of 1500 people.
The funds raised will be distributed between the selected charities and clubs participating in the event.
It will be formally launched in TF Royal Theatre on Thursday week March 27th , when the names of the participating clubs will be revealed.
Castlebar Lions Club will also announce opportunities for commercial sponsorship of the event to maximise the funds raised for the community.
Castlebar Lions Club is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation.
