Gardaí and emergency services responded to a two-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the Ballina Road in Foxford, Co. Mayo at approximately 10pm last night.
Three people, two women and a man, were taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
The Ballina to Foxford road has since fully reopened to traffic.
The programme was discussed at an Oireachtas meeting on Thursday.
