The Mayo Football League's Oscar Traynor Cup side were beaten today in Roscommon in the final round of the Connacht section of the competition.
Despite the defeat, Mayo still advance to the national quarter finals.
Roscommon District League took an early lead today through Jack Higgins, which was doubled in the second half by Cian Kelly.
Mayo managed to hit the net later on thanks to a Jason Hunt free kick, but the second goal never came.
More details of the next round are yet to be announced.
