Sligo senior football manager Tony McEntee has added to his backroom team ahead of the 2025 season.
Former Armagh senior footballer and fellow Crossmaglen man Aaron Kernan is in as defensive coach, while Tubbercurry’s Colm McGee will join as goalkeeper coach.
McGee lined out as a forward for Sligo in his playing days, during a period in which the Yeats County won back to back league promotions from Division 4 to 2.
He was instrumental to Sligo’s Connacht run in 2010, beating Mayo and Galway in the process before losing the final to Roscommon.
Crossmolina’s Joe Keane will remain as assistant manager to McEntee.
Knockmore’s Kevin McLaughlin returns to the management setup for a second year with particular emphasis on forward play.
The backroom team is completed by Sean Boyle (S&C), Dr. Stephen Gilmartin (medical support), Alan Dunne (athletic therapy) and Aidan Carty (kitman).
In a statement by Sligo GAA, 2007 Connacht Championship winning captain Noel McGuire is not mentioned.
The Easkey native was part of McEntee's backroom team for the past number of years.
