Kerry’s Cillian Burke has become the latest Irish player to sign for AFL club Geelong.
The 21-year-old, who can play in either defence or attack, has signed a rookie contract with the Cats.
He’ll join Mayo’s Oisin Mullin and fellow Kerryman Mark O’Connor at the 2022 Premiership champions.
Geelong’s general manager Andrew Mackie says they were impressed by Burke’s athleticism and expect him to make a smooth transition to Australian Rules.
