Castlebar Mitchels suffered a heartbreaking defeat this afternoon in the Connacht Intermediate semi final.
A last minute dramatic and controversial penalty decision in favour of Drumcliffe Rosses Point proved to be the decisive moment.
Keela Scanlon scored from the resulting spot kick to put DRP two points ahead and clinch the game.
Disappointment for Mitchels, who were four up at the break and had worked so hard in difficult conditions.
