Austin O’Malley has guided Cuala to their first ever Dublin Senior Football Championship title.
The Louisburgh native’s men were one point winners over three in a row champions Kilmacud Crokes.
A fisted point from Eoin Kennedy earned Cuala a last minute winner.
Dublin senior footballers Mick Fitzsimons and Con O’Callaghan were among the star performers for Cuala.
Kilmacud Crokes were aided by the full forward line of Paul Mannion, Galway’s Shane Walsh and Sligo’s Paddy O’Connor.
Austin has been on Midwest Radio commentaries as an analyst for various club and county games.
He won three Connacht titles with Mayo as a player.
