This morning in Paris, Ballymoe's Richael Timothy set a new national record in the Women’s C13 500 meter Time Trial Qualifying.
She finished in 10th place in a time of 41.937 seconds but won't qualify for this afternoon's final.
Elsewhere, Ronan Grimes picked his own national record but missed out on qualifying for the Men’s C4 4000 metre Individual Pursuit medal races.
The Athenry man finished in 5th place with the top 4 moving into the final.
