There has been much speculation in recent weeks over who will be part of Kevin McStay's Mayo Senior Football management team for 2025.
This year, McStay's management team consisted of Stephen Rochford, Donie Buckley and Damien Mulligan who returned for year two, while Corofin native Joe Canney joined the team following the departure of now Mayo ladies manager Liam McHale.
Following on from leaving his position as Leitrim Senior Men's manager, former footballer of the year Andy Moran has been rumoured to be an addition to the management team for the forthcoming season.
However, these rumours have been put to bed, after Moran spoke out himself on the story.
Speaking to the Mayo Football Podcast, Andy Moran confirmed that recent media reports linking him to a coachinr role with the Mayo footballers are 'completely unfounded'.
The Mayo Football Podcast have stated that Moran has not been approached in relation to any potential role in Mayo, and all of the 2024 management team are expected to return for 2025.
