Former Roscommon goalkeeper Shane Curran has been announced as the new manager of the Carlow Senior Footballers.
The news was confirmed last night by Carlow GAA that he would be Niall Carew’s successor.
An All-Ireland winner with his native St. Brigid’s in 2013, Curran most recently managed Caulry in Westmeath.
He was in charge of the Mount Temple club for three years, bringing them to their first Westmeath SFC semi final since 1946.
Curran has also held managerial roles with Padraig Pearses and the Roscommon Under 20s as well as Durrow in Offaly.
