The Mayo U21 Development squad lost out to Galway United in friendly action last night.
Galway were one up at half time in this one thanks to a David Hurley goal from the penalty spot.
Hurley converted once again in the second half from a penalty to give Galway a 2-0 lead.
The game gave the Tribesmen the opportunity to give a few players a trial game ahead of their next game on Saturday against Sligo Rovers.
For Joe Kelly’s Mayo U21s they will take on Maree Oranmore on August 3.
