In one of the greatest finals of all time, the Banner were one point winners over Cork after extra time.

Cork got the opening goal of the game, and Robert Downey scored one of the best final goals.
Tony Kelly starred with a tremendous solo effort to goal for Clare, with Declan Dalton also hitting the net.
