Breaffy have appointed a new manager for their mens senior football team, the Mayo News has reported today.
Last year’s beaten county finalists were left managerless after James Fallon left the position in recent weeks.
Former Mayo minor football manager Sean Deane will now take the reigns as manager of the Breaffy senior football team.
A native of Kiltane, Sean guided the Mayo minors to the 2022 All Ireland final and provincial titles in 2022 and 2023.
Breaffy’s next league game takes them to Knockmore tomorrow at 7:30pm in a replay of the 2020 county final.
Aidan O’Shea and Matthew Ruane are both fully back for Breaffy with the inter county season coming to a close.
