A Mayo boxer will compete in the second fight of his professional career this weekend.
Swinford’s Eoghan Lavin will be part of the ‘Belfast Brawl’ event this coming Friday night.
He takes on Estonian Artjom Spatar, who goes in with a professional record of three wins, eight losses and a draw.
Boxing gets underway from 5:00pm with Lavin expected to enter the ring around the 6:30pm mark.
The 21 year old made his professional debut last month in York Hall defeating Russian opponent Vasif Mamedov.
Lavin’s fight will be part of an exciting promotion where two hugely anticipated bouts will top the bill.
Dublin’s Pierce O’Leary will headline the Belfast card when he goes up against Darragh Foley for the WBC International Super Lightweight title.
In the co-main event Belfast’s Conor Quinn will fight for the vacant Commonwealth Flyweight Championship when he takes on the English champion Conner Kelsall.
