Galway have won the Connacht LGFA Minor Football Championship.
They were two point winners over Mayo this afternoon in Bekan.
Galway were in a strong position at the break, 1-7 0-2 and looked comfortable.
Mayo, to their credit, came back to make it level at 2-10 each.
It looked for all the world that Mayo had completed a miraculous comeback, when they went two points up.
But it was a late Galway goal, the game’s fifth, that proved to be the decisive score.
