Mayo made it two wins from two tonight in the Electric Ireland Connacht Minor Football Championship.
Tom Reilly & David Heaney's side were far too strong for Galway winning out by ten points in the end.
The visitors raced in to a 1-04 to 0-01 after 11 minutes with Castlebar's Harry McHale raising the green flag.
Mayo went in at the break leading 1-08 to 0-02, however the hosts did come out of the traps the quickest in the second half getting a goal straight away courtesy of Charlie Killeen.
It didn't take Mayo long to respond with Oisin Deane getting their second goal minutes later.
Man of the match Evan Walsh kicked five points and was a constant thorn in the Galway defence.
Mayo will now meet Leitrim in round 4 next Friday night in Castlebar.
