The Mayo senior hurlers were fifteen point winners over Louth this afternoon in the Allianz NHL.
This win moves Mayo even closer to that all important promotion to Division 2B of the league.
Louth, to their credit, put it up to Mayo in the first half of the game.
Unfortunately for the wee county, Mayo got into a groove in the second period and rattled off an impressive tally to secure victory.
There were some great performers this afternoon for Ray Larkin & Brian Finn’s side.
Cormac Phillips hit 0-11, with Liam Lavin bagging 0-6 and Eoghan Collins with 0-3.
Mayo are top of the table, still unbeaten, and take on second place Sligo in the final round.
