Galway United were big winners in their first away game back in Ireland’s top flight last night.
John Caulfield’s side won 2-0 away to Dundalk.
Edward McCarthy opened the scoring after ten minutes for Galway.
The lead was doubled on the half hour mark, thanks to Aodh Dervin.
They’re now up to fifth in the table after two games.
In other results, Waterford were 4-1 winners over Drogheda, while Shelbourne had an important 2-1 win against Shamrock Rovers.
Bohemains were 1-0 victors away to St Pat’s.
