Roscommon and Galway played out a 0-9 each draw in today’s Allianz NFL Division One game.
Both sides needed a win as they were beaten in first round action.
Roscommon, the home side, were ahead at the break with the aid of the wind and a good performance from Conor Cox.
The returning Matthew Tierney captained Galway, and was paramount to their second half comeback.
Both sides finished with 14, with Donie Smith sent off for Roscommon while Jack McCabe was black carded minutes later.
The equalizing score came for the Tribesmen in the 62nd minute through Paul Conroy, with neither side managing to convert a winning chance.
