The Mayo Schoolgirls u14 side faced old rivals Galway at Solar 21 Park on Friday afternoon. Mayo created a number of good chances in the first half without taking any of them, while Galway were much more clinical leading 2-0 at half-time.
The 2nd half was again fairly even before two further goals by the visitors in the last five minutes gave the scoreline a rather skewed look at 4-0. On the day Galway took their chances while Mayo didn't. Mayo now have a home Inter League Quarter Final versus Kerrry in a few weeks time.
