A fantastic second half drove St Muredach's to a glorious Schools win over The Bish from Galway today when the boys in red and white ran in five tries after half time.
According to the Ballina Rugby Club website, The Bish started the match strongly and were 19-0 up after 25 minutes and it looked ominous for the Ballina boys.
A try from the impressive Muredachs number 8, James Kenny, brought the gap back to a more manageable 12 points at half-time, 7-19.
Muredachs then introduced Billy Ruane, Jason Duggan, Brian Donohoe, and Conor Connolly and they made a telling impact.
Tries started to flow with scores from Brian Donohoe, Mikey Caden, Alex Healy, Daniel, Feeney, and Tiernan Tighe.
That fantastic revival saw Muredachs win the second half 29-0 and record a 36-19 victory.
