Ballina Stephenites have bowed out of the Connacht Senior Football Championship.
Niall Heffernan's men were beaten by Corofin this afternoon in Pearse Stadium.
Corofin had the aid of a strong breeze in the opening half, leading 0-9 0-3 at the break.
Michael Lundy and Jack McCabe scored well throughout with some important points against the breeze in the second period.
Frank Irwin and Evan Regan pointed in the second half for Ballina as they attempted to fight back.
Dylan Thornton featured in the second half, but his appearance was cut short as he seemed to go off injured.
Corofin now await the winner of St Brigid's and Mohill in the Connacht decider.
