A Mayo man won the Scandinavian Golf Open for blind and visually impaired golfers.
Blacksod native Eddie Maguire shot a nett 68 on day one and a one under par 71,to clinch 1st place,on the final day.
It was a huge surprise because Eddie had a hip accident and surgery only four months ago.
Maguire said he had a super guide in 21 year old Luke Greevey from Navan whose family are from outside Ballaghdereen.
The field included golfers from several European countries as well as Canada and the USA.
