Michael Moyles has this afternoon stepped down as Mayo Ladies Senior Football manager.
After three years the Crossmolina native has called time on his spell in charge of the ladies.
Under his stewardship Mayo reached three consecutive All-Ireland semi-finals.
In a statement made this morning the now former manager said
"I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the county board and the clubs for the honour they have given me in managing the Senior team and also for the support, guidance, and opportunities I have received throughout my tenure. I am truly grateful for the trust you placed in me to lead the team.
I would also like to acknowledge the work done by a small but committed and hardworking fundraising team and to all our sponsors who helped ensure Mayo LGFA players were equipped and resourced with every tool necessary to compete at the highest level.
Finally, I wish to thank the management team for consistently and relentlessly going above and beyond to match the ambition and dedication of the players. We hope as a management team we have added to the work done previously to make Mayo LGFA stronger."
