Sligo Rovers secured a huge three points in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division last night.

They beat Bohemians 3-1 at the Showgrounds.

First half goals from Kailin Barlow and Max Mata gave a healthy half time lead.

Stefan Radosavljevic made it three just before the hour mark from outside the box.

Barlow was sent off on 63 mins but Rovers managed to hold on for the three points.

Jonathan Afolabi scored late on as a consolation for Bohs.

This takes the Bit O’ Red to seventh in the table while yesterday’s opponents missed out on the chance to get within a point of fourth place Dundalk.
