The Mayo U16 girls are Connacht champions.
They beat Galway in yesterday’s final at the Connacht GAA COE in Bekan.
Mayo outscored their opponents five points to one in the first half to hold the cards going into the second period.
Galway responded with a goal and soon after the gap was back to two points.
Despite not hitting the net themselves, Mayo held out for a four point win to claim the Connacht crown.
