Ballina RFC have described Thursday night’s AGM as a never to be forgotten occasion.
Adrian Bourke assumed the role of President of Ballina RFC, taking over the role from Tommy Cooke .
The success of this year’s teams was praised by Club Chairman Alan Rowe, before the individual accolades were rolled out.
In one of his first duties as President, Adrian Bourke bestowed the honour of Club Patron upon Gerry O’Donnell who joins Ivan Heffernan and Sean Murphy on the list.
Billy McVann was named Senior Player of the Year while Ben Matheson was named Young Player of the Year.
McVann had also been nominated for Connacht’s Senior Club Player of the Year.
Finally, Ronan Molloy was named Senior Captain for the 2023/24 season, taking over the role from Calum Quinn who led the team throughout the last 12 months.
