The Mayo U17 hurlers have suffered defeat in the Celtic Challenge Cup quarter final.
Two first half goals from Meath gave them a 2-8 to 0-6 lead at half time.
In the third quarter of the tie, Mayo stepped up with six unanswered points to bring the margin back to just two.
As the game continued, Meath would find their range once again and see out a 2-12 to 0-13 win.
