The Mayo senior hurlers will be back in action this Saturday in a local derby against Sligo.
With the latter stages of the Christy Ring cup imminent, Mayo are still in search of their first win to try and get off bottom spot.
Derry and Tyrone are both just ahead of Mayo on three points each.
For Sligo, they sit in third begind Meath and London on scoring difference and a win could give Padraig Mannion's side the chance to push for a Christy Ring final.
The game is in Markievicz Park this Saturday, with a 6:00PM throw in time.
We'll bring you reaction from the game as part of our Sunday Sport show this weekend.
