Connacht are through to the last four of the BKT United Rugby Championship after victory away to Ulster yesterday.
In yesterday evening’s quarter final, second in the table Ulster opened the scoring from a penalty after 20 minutes.
Jack Carty leveled with a penalty of his own just four minutes later.
Carty was on form in front of the posts, kicking two further penalties to give Connacht a 9-3 lead at the break.
Into the second half, and Connacht extended their lead with another from Carty before an Ulster try on 65 minutes, followed by a conversion, set up an interesting final 15 minutes in the tie – Connacht held a 12-10 lead.
