The Mayo senior hurlers suffered defeat today at the hands of London.
The Exiles now sit at the top of the Christy Ring Cup table, with Mayo on the bottom.
Two first half goals for London pushed their lead out to six points heading into half time, and they were 2-12 to 0-12 up at the break.
Both sides exchanged scores throughout the second half but Mayo found it difficult to break the six point gap.
London held on for a well deserved victory, and Mayo face a must win game against third place Sligo in two weeks' time.
