Mayo have suffered defeat for the second week running in the Christy Ring Cup.
Tyrone won today's game by eight points at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park in Castlebar.
Sean Duffin goaled for Tyrone just before half time, and the Red Hand held a slender two point advantage at the break of 1-10 to 0-11.
Lorcan Devlin got the second goal on 46 minutes, following Duffin points to put Tyrone eight ahead.
Mayo found a goal five minutes from time to bring the score back to seven points as it was, but Tyrone came away with the win.
Mayo are now bottom of the group, after last week's loss to Meath as well.
Tyrone drew in their first outing against Derry and are now top of the table, with the other two games in the group taking place tomorrow.
