Connacht Rugby have announced the appointment of Scott Fardy as the club’s new defence coach on a 2 year deal.
Fardy played for four seasons with Leinster, as well as five years at Super League side the Brumbies and three years at Kamaishi Seawaves in Japan.
With four Guinness PRO14 titles and a Heineken Champions Cup with Leinster, he was also named in the PRO14 Dream Team for three consecutive seasons.
Since retiring in 2021, Fardy gained coaching experience firstly in Japan with NEC Green Rockets, before moving back to Australia to work with his former Shute Shield club Warringah.
