Galway United are on the road again this week as they make the trip to Ferrycarrig Park to take on Wexford tonight with kick-off is at 7:45 pm.

United are looking to make it eight wins from their opening eight games this season, which would break the record for the longest winning run in the club's history.

Wexford are coming into this one off the back of a 1-1 draw at home against Treaty United and sit just outside the playoff places in 6^th place.

Manager John Caulfield spoke ahead of Friday’s fixture:

"We always know going to Wexford it’s a difficult game, but at the same time we are on a very good run ourselves and we’re hoping to maintain that."
