Colm Reape (Mayo)
Mayo goalkeeper Reape was his team’s main man in their hard-fought Allianz Football League Division 1 Final victory over Galway. He made four big saves and also kicked three points from placed balls, two from frees and a ’45.
Niall Murphy (Sligo)
Murphy’s attacking class made the vital difference in Sligo’s Allianz Football league Division 4 Final victory over Wicklow. His first-half goal brought Sligo back into the match after a slow start, and he finished the game with a personal tally of 1-4.
John Small (Dublin)
More renowned for his defensive solidity, John Small showed in Dublin’s Allianz Football League Division 2 Final win over Derry that he can also make a big offensive contribution. He scored 1-1 from play, and carried the ball strongly time and again.
