Sligo jockey Derek Fox rode Corach Rambler to victory for the second year in a row on the opening day of the Cheltenham 2023 racing festival.
Fox is an Aintree Grand National winner with One For Arthur in 2017 and also has a ride in Friday’s festival showpiece race, the Gold Cup, aboard Ahoy Senor.
The feature on day two of the Cheltenham Festival is the Champion Chase, which goes to post at half-three.
Edwardstone is likely to go off the favourite, but will face a stiff challenge from last year's winner Energumene.
There's also the chance of a back-to-back winner in the Cross Country Chase, as the Gordon Elliott-trained Delta Work bids for a second successive victory.
Today's action begins with the Ballymore Novices Hurdle at half-past-one.
