Mayo got their first win of the Allianz National Hurling League Division 3A after a massive victory over Monaghan yesterday.
Monaghan went into the game on top of the table, and Mayo bottom - and despite the result the teams remain in the same positions.
Mayo started the game brilliantly with goals from Eoin Delaney and Jason Coyne inside the first ten minutes.
Sean Kenny and Adrian Phillips also hit the net in the first half to help Dave McConn and Tom Phillips' side to a 4-14 to 0-7 lead at the break.
Daniel Huane hit the net for goal number five in the second half, as Cormac Phillips was top scorer on the day with 0-9.
