Mayo produced a stellar display last night to record their first win of Division 1 by seeing off the All-Ireland Champions at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
Mayo led by 11 points at the break with the goals coming from Ryan O’Donoghue and James Carr.
There was some terrific Mayo performances throughout with Jordan Flynn picking up the TG4 man of the Match and James Carr was chosen as the “Midwest Radio Mayo Mental Health Association” Man of the Match.
It finished Mayo 2-14 Kerry 1-10.
Mayo now meet Tyrone at home in round 4 next Saturday night.
