The Taiwan Celts GAA Club was founded in 1995 and was the first GAA Club to be set up in Asia. Since then many GAA clubs have sprung up across the region and on October 8th and 9th last, they all got together in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete in the annual Asian Gaelic Games tournament. Neil O’Sullivan visited Taiwan a few weeks ago to talk about the history of the Taiwan Celts, the upcoming Asian Gaelic Games, and life in Taiwan since the high profile Nancy Pelosi visit at the beginning of August. Neil first asked Chris Walsh from Newport, Co. Mayo how the Taiwan Celts got started.
