Former Castlebar Mitchels senior manager Alan Flynn has joined the Offaly backroom team.
The Tuam Stars clubman is the current manager of St Mary’s, who will contest the Leitrim SFC final against Eamonn O’Hara’s Mohill on Sunday next.
He has previously been involved with Galway, Clare and Kildare, and led his native county to an All-Ireland U21 title in 2013.
Flynn was manager of Mitchels for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
He will be joined on Liam Kearns team by fellow Galway man Keith Carr as strength and conditioning coach and Ex-Sligo footballer Brendan Egan also joins the backroom team.
