Republic of Ireland amateur international team manager Gerry Davis has named an 18-man squad for the upcoming UEFA Regions Cup friendly against Wales.
The squad includes Westport United goalkeeper Gary Cunningham for the trip to Colwyn Bay on Saturday, September 3, for what is a return fixture with the Welsh following Ireland's 2-1 win in the first game of the double-header at Turner's Cross earlier this month.
The Irish squad in full is: goalkeepers - Brendan O'Connell (Rockmount), Gary Cunningham (Westport United); defenders - Adam Crowley (Rockmount), Jack McMullen (Home Farm), Chris Smith (Aisling Annacotty), Jack Parke (Bonagee United), Aaron Humphries (Kilbarrack United), Lee McColgan (Cockhill Celtic), Glen Daly (Malahide United); midfielders - Stephen Chambers (Killester Donnycarney), Eoin Murphy (Rockmount), Luke Casey (Rockmount), Nathan Broderick (Rockmount), Mikey Fox (Salthill Devon), A.J. O'Connor (Fairview Rangers); forwards - Eoin Hayes (Newmarket Celtic), Simon Falvey (Avondale United), Shane Stritch (Bluebell United).
The game will kick-off at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, at Colwyn Bay FC.
