Mayo’s Conor Heneghan finished third in the Darts Live League yesterday and in the process threw his first televised 9-dart finish.
The young Roundfort man had already won ten matches when facing Thibault Tricole in the third-place playoff of the televised online event.
Playing the best of seven legs, Heneghan secured a 4-1 victory with a perfect final leg and ended the game with an impressive 102 average.
Heneghan had ended up in the playoff having been denied a place in the final by Nathan Girvan in their last four showdown losing the contest 4-3.
