Places in Finals and Play-off Places Decided on Day 4 of the Kennedy Cup:

For the winners of the Quarter Finals of the various competitions there was no time to rest on their laurels as they were in semi-final action on Day 4 of the SFAI Kennedy Cup.

For other teams it was all about ending the week on a high and winning their Play-Off games which would decide their finishing positions.

Bowl Play-Off Matches

Samuel Hannon scored twice as Roscommon beat Kilkenny.

Shield Play Offs:

Mayo were 5-3 winners over South Tipperary to take 19^th place. Their goals came from Adam Naughton, David Lally, Tony Carey, Mathew Scahill and Oran Murphy while Josh Davey, Darragh O’Dwyer and an own goal were the Mayo goals.

Plate Play Off:

In the Plate Play Off for 7^th and 8^th place Jack Sweeney gave Galway the lead in the second half against Sligo /Leitrim.

Colm Doyle doubled their lead before half time.

Into the second half and Jack Nicholson pulled one back for Sligo/Leitrim and the same player equalised in the last minute.

After the spot kicks Galway took the win and 7^th place 4-3.

Samuel Hanson hit two and Szymon Skoczen the other as Roscommon took a 3-1 lead in their game against South Belfast who had Conor Greer on the score sheet in the battle for 13^th and 14^th places.

Mayo took the win and 13^th place.
