Galway United recorded their fifth successive victory in the First Division following a 4-0 result against Cobh Ramblers at St Colman’s Park.

United got their opening goal in the 20th minute, Max Hemmings shooting home calmly from the edge of the area.

John Caulfield’s side scored their second goal in the 36th minute, Edward McCarthy finishing to the top corner.

The Limerick native rounded off an impressive opening half, scoring his second deep into first-half injury time, to give United a 3-0 advantage at the interval.

Manu Dimas got his third goal of the season and United’s fourth of the night at the death, wrapping up an impressive victory for the Corribsiders.
