University of Limerick secured their place in the final of the Fitzgibbon Cup in dramatic fashion tonight.

Michael Kiely found the net with a 45-yard free in added time of extra-time to give them a one-point win over IT Carlow.

UL will play NUI Galway in Saturday’s final.
