Connacht winger Mack Hansen has been named in the Ireland squad for the first time ahead of this year's Six Nations.

The Australian-born Hansen qualifies through his Cork-born mother.

Also included for the first time is Ulster's in-form full-back Mike Lowry.

Leinster winger James Lowe has been left out due to a muscle injury, while there's no place for his teammates Ross and Harry Byrne.

Simon Zebo is also left out, but there are recalls for Jack Carty and Kieran Tredwell.
